1997 v/s 2013
My name is Matthew. I'm 21 years old, and my life has been saved in every way by Jesus Christ. I am in my fourth year at Briercrest. I help out a pretty sweet ministry called Refined/Undignified with their social media, you should check them out. I love lots of things, more than I can list. Feel free to ask me stuff. No matter your situation, there is always hope. please know that you are so loved, right now and always.

Dust Bowl Dance—Mumford & Sons
I’d been kicked off my land at the age of sixteen
And I have no idea where else my heart could have been
I placed all my trust at the foot of this hill
And now I am sure my heart could never be still
So collect your courage and collect your horse
And pray you never feel the same kind of remorse.
Seal my heart and break my bright
I’ve nowhere to stand and nowhere to hide
Align my heart, my body, my mind
To face what I’ve done and do my time.
Below My Feet (Live at Red Rocks) || Mumford & Sons
I was still, but I was under your spell
And I was told by Jesus “all is well”
So all must be well.
Keep the earth below my feet,
For all my sweat my blood runs weak
Let me learn from where I have been
Keep my eyes to serve, my hands to learn.
OK so I don’t usually gush about concerts on Tumblr anymore
(mostly because i go to very few and the last really sweet one i went to was in a country i didn’t have much internet access in) but Mumford and Sons was SO FREAKING GOOD… it just so happened it was their largest headlining show ever, and their performance was just incredible. So much passion, and talent, and energy and sincerity. It was amazing. And they played my favourite songs from each album (“Dust Bowl Dance” and “Below My Feet”), and actually they played every song I hoped they would, and even won me over to a few I was on the fence about. Music is great. I’m a little in love with the night I just had.
Mumford and Sons! Such an amazing show - and their biggest headlining show ever :) (at Holland Park)
Love starting my day with some before-work beverage, breakfast and Bible time. Redeems these early mornings :P (at Starbucks)
