well, i managed to work about… half a day at the sliding centre.
then i got sick.
went to first aid.
got some needle stuck in my arm.
passed out.
woke up when everyone else on the wsc team was done.
peaced it.
took today off.
and i’ve got tomorrow off.
and then back to the sliding centre.
but the time that i was actually working was sweet.
praying for & anticipating big things.
I have my first shift up at the sliding centre tomorrow. i’m STOKED, but apprehensive about working there the day following the death of Nadar Kumaritashvili; we haven’t even heard if the first event is going to be postponed or anything, and it’s heartbreaking that a 21-year-old’s olympic dreams ended this way.
after hearing about the accident & having a prayer sesh...
