BRB Tokyo.
Hey friends,
I apologize for the lack of anything posted here in the last while. I am currently in my final week in Asia, in Tokyo, and it’s absolutely incredible. I feel that I finished well in Hong Kong and look forward to spending one more night there between flights this coming weekend, and then coming home and finally getting the chance to edit all the photos and make a decent post.
I’m having a phenomenal time, and so thankful for the many ways in which God is showing his love and providence to me, even as I find myself surrounded by the second-largest unreached demographic in the world. Tokyo had already found its way into my heart, in a sort of affectionate and wondersome place, and now that I have been here and am immersed in this truly unique place and culture it continues to do so.
I am encouraged tonight by the words of Will Reagen & The United Pursuit Band’s song “Set a Fire”, and hope you will be too.
There’s no place I would rather be, no place I would rather be than here in your love.
So set a fired down in my soul that I can’t contain and I can’t control, I want more of you God!
I keep being brought into increasing joy, love, and thankfulness to the One who has brought me into his love… God is so good and so gracious and so merciful and so loving! He holds everything in place and he loves us! That’s not only an awesome thought, but a wonderful truth.
